2011 Marc Bredif Vouvray
Testing this wine for an upcoming wine dinner wherein it would get paired opposite a California chardonnay. Awesome wine by itself, and the contrast will be superb. Nose of cinnamon and smoke. On the palate, crisp stonefruit and green apples lead into a finish that reminds me of a quick reduction sauce I make out of cream and grapefruit juice.
