2007 Ch. Musar rouge

I received a 6 pack of the subject wine nearly a month ago, and haven't opened one yet. (really have no idea when I will open one) except to say before I die. (Mike H, if you read this 2 of those are yours.) Just was wondering if anyone on WLDG has had the wine in question and could report. AS I said I don't knw when I'll try it, but if my memory doesn't fail me, I'll report something on it. Also I paid $53 per and thought that was an ok price...any thoughts price wise?

2005 is the most recent I've seen. If you do open one now, I for one would love to hear how it is.

I had one recently. Here are my notes:

Chateau Musar 2007 - Quite complex. Black olives. Some oxidation. Prune, chocolate and leather. Cocoa powder. Good dose of acidity for structure. Fine tannins. Fruit forward now but should turn out outstanding with age as it’s already showing so much promise at this young age.
