WTN: Delicious German wine with incredibly long name

2004 Carl Schmitt-Wagner Longuicher Maximiner Herrenberg Riesling Auslese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (10/30/2014)
Consistent with prior bottles of this wine I have consumed, it's light bodied but not insubstantial. There's a true elegance yet also a sense of rusticity. This is not Auslese packed with sugar and polished to a high sheen. It's classical, and looks back to a time when wines were made to drink, not admire. It's thirst quenching, only moderately sweet, and very food friendly.

A German wine with a long name? I'm shocked!

Sounds like a great old school auslese...
