Jean-Pierre & Jean-Francois Quenard AC: Savoie Chignin (100% Jacquere; 11.5%; www.JFQuenard.com; CharlesNealSlctn) Chignin 2013: Med.light yellow color; strong stony/mineral/chalky some appley/grapefruity/metallic slight fragrant nose; very tart/lean/tangy rather grapefruity/metallic/stony/chalky light appley/quince light bodied flavor; med.long quite tart/tangy/grapefruity/stony/chalky lean/metallic light apple/quince finish; pretty classic light-weight lean Jacquere of Savoie. $15.00

JulioMoro Grenache Journee de Mistral AC: Ventoux (MeBalP; 14%) RhoneVllyVnyd 2010: Med.color some earthy/garrigue rather Grenache/CdR/clunky/light strawberry bit simple nose; soft some earthy/leathery/horsecollar light strawberry/Grenache simple flavor w/ light/bitey tannins; med.short earthy/garrigue slight strawberry/Grenache some horsecollar finish w/ light/spikey tannins; a pleasant enough CdR but a bit on the dull side; neat label but not much else. $15.00 (KK)

Siduri PinotNoir SonomaCoast/SonomaCnty (14.1%) 2012: Med.dark color; lovely very spicy/black cherry/PN/cherry light pencilly/toasty/oak/vanilla lovely/bright PN nose; fairly tart/tangy loads of bright/spicy/cherry/black cherry/PN some pencilly/toasty/Fr.oak/vanilla bit licorice/pungent lovely flavor w/ light tannins; long very bright/spicy/PN/cherry/black cherry cola light pencilly/vanilla/toasty/Fr.oak finish w/ light/smooth tannins; very good drinking now & should go out 2-5 yrs; not particularly distinctive but a lovely/classic Siduri PN at a great price. $26.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Our group buys a fair amount of the Siduri appellation-series Pinots. I am continually astounded by how much Pinot they deliver at very reasonable prices. Don't know how Adam does it.
