WTN: 2001 Philip Togni Cabernet Sauvignon

When I am still thinking about the previous evening's wine, it is time to write a note.

This is a gorgeous and concentrated wine with aromas of cherry, game, and leather. The palate is juicy and seductive with black cherry, cedar, and minerals. It still has significant tannins - lots of potential for aging, but so good at the present time.

Love the Togni wines. Just hate waiting for them.

Which is why I didn't :D I was looking for the 1997, couldn't locate it, and this one was convenient. Once all my wines arrive, I have to do some rearranging and keep better records as to location. I spend way too much time looking for specific bottles.

Somewhere in the cellar I have a '97 as well. No idea where.
