Sunday night with pan-seared fillet (grass fed), we had our last bottle of 2000 Larrivet-Haut-Brion. I was a happy man. But sorry that it was my last bottle. This could easily go another 5-10 years, but alas, mine are gone. What an exit.
OTOH, tonight I opened my first bottle from a case of '11 Jean Descombes Morgon (G. DeBoeuf) and am looking forward to drinking these over the next 2-3 years. Lovely with beef stroganoff. Another great Cru Beaujolais.
