Masottina Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry NV - Lightish, and even though it's labeled extra dry, there is a gentle sweetness about it. Red apples and some grapiness. Simple wine but nothing wrong with that. Sometimes you just want lubrication and let the food shine. This got the job done. Adequate for the task at hand. Quite good with the octopus salad but perhaps a touch lightweight for the excellent saffron linguini with chicken ragu.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
