New forum background photo!

So, we've replaced my 14-year-old photo of Jess Jackson's Gauer Ranch Sonoma vineyard with a great one by David Bueker, his shot looking down on some of the most famous vineyards of the Nahe region, including the Niederhauser Hermannshohle, Schlossbockelheimer Kupfergrube and Schlossbockelheimer Felsenberg. Thanks, David!

You can't really see all that much of the "wallpaper," as most of it hides behind text, but sometimes it pops out when you're making a post.

If you have good vineyard shots of decent resolution and, ideally, colors and contrast that won't be distracting, show 'em to us! Maybe we can have a gallery of background vineyard shots that we change from time to time.

Strangely, I'm seeing the new background on my desktop, but not on my iPad or iPhone. Just out of curiosity, does anyone else see the changed version? You can tell the new one by the river running across and little village houses far below.

Yeah, it's all good. For some reason, my iPad must have cached the old one for a while.

I see it just fine, but it's a bit out of focus. Resolution issue?

It's not a huge file. The focus is sharp on smaller screens.

It's a high-res original, but the system is displaying it larger than the original size, and that softens it a bit. Same way with the Gauer Ranch previously. David, did you mention having a higher-res version? We could play with it a little.
