WTN: a couple oldish German Rieslings

2002 Kruger-Rumpf Munsterer Rheinberg Riesling Nahe Kabinett; Medium dark straw color, excellent intact cork, peach flavor dominated. Acidity was adequate buty I would have liked a bit more. abv of 9.5%

2003 Josef Spreitzer Oestricher Lenchen Riesling Rheingau Kabinett; Pale straw color, lighter than expected, apple flavors dominated. Acidity was excellent, almost spritzy providing wonderful balance.
abv. of 8.5%. Both of these bottles were bought recently in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on a discount table for 50% off, so at less than 10$/bottle I was quite happy with the outcome. Previous bottles have had a spotty record for soundness and I have returned 3-5 over the past 2 years. I expected better acidity in the 2002 and maybe a bit less in the 2003 due to weather those two years. Both bottles were sweeter than I remembered kabinetts being . If any more remain I will buy again

Things got sweet right about 2002. I have found 2012 to turn the tide just a little bit.
