What's all this with the "Install Directory"????

by John Treder » Tue Sep 30, 2014 8:51 pm

I hit the tab on FahrFawks and got a message saying something like, "Please delete or rename your install directory, because [here's where I get lost] you won't be able to see anything but the [something page] if you don't."
I'm not a computer novice. I searched for anything resembling an Install directory for WLDG and didn't find one.
WTHeck?
BTW, "keep logged in" stopped working again.
I do hope you guys and your techies get it all sorted out soon. (I'm aware the "you guys" are all named Robin :-))

Yeah, John, that bump in the road was a little bigger than usual. We didn't realize that glitch had happend because Mary and I went out to dinner, and our tech guru Ahsan is on the other side of the world and sleeping right now.

As I just told Otto, though, please be patient. We'll have a bumpy few days as we undertake an interlocking series of upgrades, but we hope we'll end up with a prettier, faster and safer forum, and through better social media integration, maybe even build our numbers a bit. :)
