The AWS Conference is outside Charlotte this year. We will be driving from the north and would like to stop at a good winery or two. Recommendations appreciated.

On our trips South we never miss stopping at Shelton Vineyards in Dobson. It is just off I-77 just below the Virginia line and north of Charlotte. Their Cab Franc is worth the trip.

Many thanks Carl. That's a definite stop.

Dan, if you are driving down you might want to also stop at Fincastle Winery in VA. It is just off I-81 at exit 156.
