I opened the 2011 Zinck Gewurztraminer tonight with spicey Chinese and it was quite the revealation. Medium straw in color with lots of spicey pear and rose petal on the nose, the palate followed that with an additional lilac note that I found quite unusual and attractive. Abv of 14.5% and $18.00 in Michigan. I'd buy again if I could find in my market.

Jim, I have had some previous experience with Paul Zinck and have always found his wines to be quite sound. Will look around for this one so thanks.
