2002 Pierre Sparr Gewurztraminer Mambourg - France, Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru AOC (7/14/2014)
Served with a stir fry of veggies and scallops in a chili garlic sauce, this acquitted itself well, with some singed pineapple and lychee elements. Not much on the rose petal front, but given the richness of the food flavors, that would have been overpowered anyway. Good acidity for Gewürztraminer.
