1. LaValentina bianco fiano IGT: Fiano Colline Pescaresi (13%; DallaTerra) Spoltore 2011: Pale yellow color; some earthy/chalky light mango/pineapple/bit floral somewhat neutral nose; quite soft light floral/mango/pineapple/Vitalis light chalky somewhat bland/simple/vapid slight metallic/tangy flavor; med.short soft light mango/pineapple/floral/Vitalis light chalky/metallic/tangy finish; a light rather vapid/simple pleasant little wine but not much more. $20.00

Terredora Di Paola DOCG: Greco di Tufo Loggia della Serra (13%; www.Terredora.com) Vias Imports 2013: Med.gold color; strong fresh coconut/mango/ZagNut bar rather stony/mineral slight metallic nose; rather stony/mineral/earthy/flinty very light coconut/mango rather lean/metallic/steely tart/tangy flavor; med.short tart/tangy/grapefruity lean/metallic/steely stony/mineral slight mango/coconut finish; a rather tart/lean quite stony/flinty white. $20.00 (SFW&S)

Terredora di Paola DOCG: Fiano di Avellino (13%) Montefusco 2011: Med.yellow color; some coconut/pineapple/mango rather fragrant/perfumed/spicy quite attractive nose; softer bit tangy rather perfumed/pineapple/mango/floral/Fiano light earthy/stony flavor; long floral/pineapple/mango/spicy bit tart/tangy rather perfumed finish; quite an attractive Fiano and not as lean/austere as the Greco. $22.50 (SFW&S)

An a wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I liked the two Teredoras fairly well, preferring the Fiano to the Greco somewhat. They both had a stylistic similarity. But the Fiano was not nearly of the level of the recent SanGregorio.
