Holy cow! This was the last bottle from a purchase in 2004! I ran across it in the cellar a few weeks ago, and figured it might still be alive. Was it ever! Deep, ripe strawberry fruit was still prominent, but had developed an even deeper richness, with herbal and warm bread tones. It was mouthfilling and persistent, holding up well through our dinner. Amazing Champagne!
