1. Ridge Geyserville Calif/SonomaCnty (64% Zin/18% PS/18% Carignan; 13.9%; Bttld: Deb 92; Drk: 1/92-1/98-1/00: PD) 1990: Med.color slight murkey w/ light bricking; strong pencilly/old Zin vanilla/Am.oak light spicy/Zin/raspberry bit tired rather complex/old Zin nose; soft bit metallic/tangy/earthy light raspberry/Zin/earthy strong pencilly/Am.oak/old Zin bit complex flavor w/ light/smooth/fully integrated tannins; med.long strong vanilla/Am.oak some pencilly/old Zin bit earthy/funky/raspberry/Zin slight dusty/OV bit tangy/metallic/grapefruity finish w/ light/smooth tannins; a bit on the tired side w/ lots of old Ridge Zin character but still hanging in there and offers up some measure of pleasure.
