A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This was the most recent ATP shipment of several weeks ago.
It was a warm day in LosAlamos and so the alcohol was probably a bit more obvious than it normally would be. HeartsDesire is an old clone Zin that they planted in the Geyserville Ranch over 20 yrs ago. Presumably this is 100% Zin. Nothing in particular that I could find in this wine that distinguishes HeartsDesire from any other Ridge Zin. Definitely a step above the 3Vllys and more on the level of the EastBench. Like many ATP wines, I expect this will become much more interesting/complex w/ a few yrs of age on it. Or maybe not.
