Previously others have disparaged red wine from Chassagne-Montrachet. And again I have found a delightful red from the "assumed to be" white wine stronghold, while in-fact they produce half of their wines from pinot noir. Previously I reported of the Vincent and Sophie Morey C-H and tonight we had (with grilled chicken breast) the '11 Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet, par Bader-Mimeur. It was a solid effort, after a 2 hour decant, and was perfect with the chicken, but it could have stood up to lamb, veal, burgers or even flank steak. Very solid wine.
