Well, no; actually 18 blonde morel mushrooms walked their way into our paper bags today. My wife fried them up in butter until crisp and they joined pesto and fresh asparagus for our evening meal with 2003 Weingut Josef Biffar Deidesheimer Kieselberg Riesling Kabinett from the Pfalz. It was completely sound and was full of peach flavors and excellent acidity with a deep straw color. For $8.00 I was probably lucky on this one as many of these deeply discounted Germans have been cooked or otherwise faulty in some way. abv of %10 and imported by Michael Skurnik and a Terry Theise selection
