WTN: 2010 Albert Boxler Riesling Brand

No playful title because this wine is too darned special. This is the best Alsatian wine I have since the 2002 vintage. It is dry, rich, balanced and has tingly acidity. It's exotic yet restrained. It has a sense of 10 ounces of fruit packed into a 5 ounce glass. The finish is powerful and long. This is a wow wine. It's not at all inexpensive, but even at its price ($60) it remains a value because it is so incredibly good!

Agreed, also the 2010 Boxler Sommerberg is mighty fine.

Was not offered Sommerberg Riesling, but did get some Pinot Gris.

Good to hear. I have both the Brand and Sommerberg, and 1 bottle of the Pinot Blanc.

Ah the Pinot Blanc. I love that wine, but was not offered any. Harumph!
