WTN: A morel delema

I picked 14 morel mushrooms yesterday and we fried them up today with a bottle of 2001 Eugen Muller Forster Mariengarten Riesling Kabinett. What a nice combination with the hazel nutty flavors of the mushrooms and the apple and a bit of non-spicey pear fruit flavors. The wine could have used a bit more acid but was overall very sound with deep straw color. abv of 10%. Cost was $5.25 as the original was $10.50 and all whites at this discount were 50% off. We finished the meal with bar-b-que ribs and 201o Mendoza Vineyard Res. Malbec which complimented the spicey ribs very well with a strong spicey
note also. Spring has finally sprung!
