We tried these two over the weekend:
1. Novy SauvBlanc RRV (13.1%) 2012: Med.light gold color; lightly herbal some citrusy/grapefruity/spicy slight stony/earthy bit juicy/fruity quite attractive nose; fairly tart/tangy/grapefruity/citrusy light herbal/SB bit stony/earthy/metallic bright/zippy flavor; med.long tangy/grapefruity/citrusy slight herbal bit earthy/stonu finish; not a very agressive SB but an altogether pleasant/pretty somewhat unusual rendition of Calif SB. $20.00

2. Novy Zin RRV/SonomaCnty (15.7%) 2012: Med.dark color; very strong ripe/blackberry/Zin/boysenberry rather grapey/fruity slight alcoholic/fumey light toasty/oak bit spicy nose; soft very ripe/fruity/blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/spicy some hot/fumey/alcoholic flavor w/ light tannins; long soft/lush/ripe/boysenberry/blackberry/Zin/spicy bit hot/fumey finish w/ light tannins; probably should be served slightly chilled to ameliorate the fuminess; a big/ripe/lush Zin at a good price. $23.00
