One word summary of Bordeaux 2013

Chaptalization. The first wide spread use since the early 90s, up to and including Lafite. They say the wines are really nice drinker's clarets. But we know they still won't be priced for drinkers. However, the Chinese demand has plummeted since 2009 & 2010. So this should be a very interesting future's campaign to watch . . . .

Interesting news. Much as I love Bordeaux wines I haven't kept up--don't even know what 2012 is expected to be.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
