2007 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Ovello - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco (4/8/2014)
I have now run though 7 of the 2007 Riservas from the Produttori, and the Ovello was the most open and giving. It had plenty of red fruit and floral elements, and only at the very back was the tannin notably agressive. There's more than enough material to support a decade of aging, though with 2004s and 2008s sitting around being grouchy it's a bit tough to resist this one.
