1998 Corison "Kronos Vineyard"

Lovely, mature Old School California Cabernet. Still has some lovely, bright cassis fruit, but quite a bit of secondary development to my palate. My friend insisted that there was a touch of brett, but I tasted more "mature cab" than brett...and in either case it was a delicious treat of a wine.

At the winery on Sunday, they had the 2002 Kronos open. Not as far along, obviously, but some lovely smooth and high toned fruit that suggests a very nice future for the wine!
