2011 Enfield Wine Co. Tempranillo Shake Ridge - USA, California, Amador (4/6/2014)
Had the 2011 Syrah last night, so this is a big change. This is a more elegant wine in style. Aromas of red cherries, dust, herbs, flowers and a hint of licorice make this quite complex. The finish is a bit clenched, though a little shipping shock might account for that, as the wine only arrived on Wednesday.. I look forward to following this over the course of the evening, as well as following my other bottles over the next several years.
