WTN: Riesling for Orcs

2012 Alfred Merkelbach Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Spätlese Urglück
The lime and berry aromatics were immediately apparent as I pulled the cork. A bit drier than the regular UW Spatlese, it also has more obvious minerality than its sibling-a result of less baby fat. Wonderfully drinkable, the wine has a balance that will allow for effortless aging.

Not quite sure what/where is Urglück? I see Salil has also posted on CT.

Plenty of riesling notes on quite a few forums right now eh David. The Virtual Tasting over on Be...... is getting lots of attention.

From his note it looks like a subplot of the Wurzgarten.

I assumed Urgluck was in Mordor based on the title.
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

And if they want a red wine, I assume they drink Domaine de la Mordoree.
