NWR: The passing of Pete Seeger

by Charles Weiss » Wed Jan 29, 2014 5:45 pm

A truly great man.

I don't know much about his private life, though it says something that he was married to the same woman for about 60 yrs and built the home they lived in all those years. In his public life he was certainly a highly principled man who stood up for what he believed in, often at considerable cost, and tirelessly worked to advocate for a better world.

As well as being a great and passionate musician, songwriter, and minstrel. who brought great joy to people of all ages.

He'll be missed for sure. A big hero of mine. :(
