WTN: 2001 Trimbach Clos Ste. Hune

2001 Trimbach Riesling Clos Ste. Hune - France, Alsace, Alsace AOC (12/20/2013) This wine showed two faces over the course of the evening. Initially it was broad, creamy, fruity and incredibly friendly for CSH. Fast forward 90 minutes, and the friendly aspects pulled back, and a much more Hune-like austerity took over. Final sips were quite steely, with dashes of creamy lemon and minerals. Drink fast or leave alone a while longer.
