1996 Daniel Bocquenet Echezeaux - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Echezeaux Grand Cru (12/20/2013)
Finally got around to a bottle that I had been eyeing for quite a while. Thankfully it was on point, with lovely red fruit, earth and cinnamon stick elements that melded beautifully with the wild boar main course. This was not the most refined grand cru Burgundy, but it was delicious.

Glad to hear it. I've enjoyed some of Daniel Bocquenet's less grand red wines but haven't seen any in this area recently.
