2011 Dönnhoff Riesling - Germany, Nahe (12/15/2013)Estate Riesling? Estate Riesling? Really? I know it's a blend of multiple sites, but it is pure Nahe through and through. Even from a lower acid year it has plenty of zip, and loads of tree fruit and stony minerality. Purity, clarity and drinkability - everything you could ask for, and all that for less than $20.
