A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. OjaiRed: This is a wine that Adam puts out from time to time at a stupid/silly price. I seem to recall it awas about $14-$15. As I understand it, they take to leftover wine in the barrel from bottling, filter it to clean it up, blend it, and send it on its way. Since most of their production is Pinot & Syrah, I suspect that's what's mostly in this wine.
They don't put a vintage date or Lot# on the label, but they did finally start putting a laser tag directly on the glass btl. This 022409 presumably represents a Feb24, 2009 bottling date, so the wine is probably about an '07 I would guess. Whatever it is, it has matured into quite a niice Pinotish red.
They also do a OjaiWhite that's very good as well.
