Russian River Valley, CA. 13.9% abv. Pale with transparency. Nice on the nose with green apple and other elements I can't identify. (The second evening I was perceiving pear more than apple.) Bright and crisp and yet rather full-bodied. Shows the attractiveness of some Chard not bolstered by oak. I had it the first evening with orange-glazed chicken cooked on a grill. A pleasing and food-friendly Chardonnay that I feel is deserving of an 88 or 89 rating.
