WTN: Airplane wine - 2012 Dr. Loosen Riesling Blauschiefer

A reasonably interesting wine served on Lufthansa. The 2012 Loosen Blauschiefer was dry, lightly fruity and had lingering mineral tones. It was quite food friendly, and went very well with the surprisingly tsasty food served in business class.

Everyone says that. It's more important to be careful with food choices.

Hi David,

As a veteran of more than a dozen trips to China and a handful of trips to India, Bangalore in fact, I follow the Boy Scout motto – “Be prepared.” Though I am very careful with my food choices I have learned that given enough time in China or India I will form a close personal relationship with the restroom at some point.

The over-under in Bangalore for me and my work group seems to be 10 days when partaking of even the safest local cuisine. I do know people who take enough Pop Tarts, Power Bars and Jerky to live on while they are there. I refuse to be that risk averse as the food is quite good.
