  • 2007 Evesham Wood Pinot Noir - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (12/1/2013)
This was my fourth bottle but first in about 4 years. An excellent purchase at $18. Crazy. This wine does seem to be leaning out. I am going to grab another bottle to asses but this is certainly a higher acid wine with soft red fruits. Should probably be drank over the next 2 years.

  • 2006 St. Innocent Pinot Noir Anden - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (11/30/2013)
As one could expect, Mark V. handled the 2006 vintage really well and crafted a friendly Anden Vineyard pinot. This is holding up just fine as fruity 2006, not showing any boozey elements although it does lack some of the edges I would expect from Anden. Sad this this was the last from this vineyard. It will forever be a tragedy that Mark didn't make wines from 7 Springs/Anden in 2008, 2010 and 2011.

  • 2007 Kosta Browne Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (11/19/2013)
Holding up fine but probably should start drinking up. Smells great with big and ripe fruit. The attack still has great purity of fruit but the finish is muddled and slightly hot.

Cheers,

Jason
