WTN: Winning!

2012 von Winning Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten Riesling Trocken - Germany, Pfalz (11/30/2013)
Popped and poured. This is fantastic dry Riesling, besting any other German Trocken I have had this year, including such names as Keller, Donnhoff, etc. Combining the QPR factor this is a far and away winner for its floral, peach and mineral dominated aromatics and flavors. It's as pure as rainwater, and crisp as an early winter morning. Outstanding Riesling.

I can't remember drinking any von Winning and I don't have a comprehensive sense of the other wines you've tasted, but it's always fun when you get a bottle that performs so well and makes you so happy.

Whenever I read this producer's name, I always think of Charlie Sheen now...

Darn it, John! You stole my joke. I was going to ask David if he had ever tried their "Cuvee Charlie Sheen."
