2011 Kutch Pinot Noir McDougall Ranch - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (11/26/2013)
Seemed to have a little bit of dissolved CO2 which dissipated quickly in the glass. Once that was gone the wine settled into a very nice place for something so young. Lots of red fruit on the more tart side of berry, and a subtle spice element. Good finishing length that showed off an earthy/mineral streak. Very fine Pinot Noir with good balance to all its parts.
