After a very nice Bolzano Weissburgunder last month, decided to splurge $24 on their Muller-Thurgau! Heck its only minus 20 outside and 30 cms of snow ..so a perfect match  .

TN: 2011 Cantina Bolzano Muller-Thurgau Alto Adige.

Cheap looking cork, nicely chilled over two days. Color is a light greenish yellow, nose shows floral fragrance with some peach, citrus and hint of some hay.
Initial entry thought is dry, steely mineral tones. White stonefruit, fair acidity, nothing too serious here. Grassy too, did not find bitter but did lack some ripeness. Tart overall, guess should try to track down some Tiefenbrunner if it is in my area

Food was turkey piccata with couscous.

Even once I realized these were Canadian prices, I was still taken aback at the price of this co-op Muller-Thurgau, Bob.

Sounds like it was decent enough, but not outstanding. Suspect you'll like the Lageder or Tiefenbrunner a bit more though.
