WTN: 2006 Bachelet Gevrey-Chambertin VV

I wanted to check on a 2006 red Burgundy. The nose did not offer up much, some florals, but, really, not much...nor did the palate. Okay, there is lots of structure and plenty of tannic grip. Not much more to say. Half a bottle remains.

I would not expect high quality Gevrey from a somewhat structured vintage to show well at 7 years of age. My foray into the CdN Villages was tilting at windmills as it was.
