Both of these Vermentinos were pretty typical of the Corsican whites I've had, mostly from Kermit. A bit on the austere side a pretty terroir-driven (as if I knew what the heck the Corsican terroir is like!!). To me, they don't hold a candle to the Ryme(Hers) or MahoneyEstate or TablasCreek Vermentinos, or a decent Ligurian or any Piemontese Favoritas. But w/ a rustic Corsican chevre or Tomme de Brebis, they would be perfectly authentic fare.
