This white wine from the central coast of Cal. was a 2009 blend of %50 Marsanne and %50 Viognier. Somewhat viscous and a medium yellow color, it was a delite to pair with pesto coated chicken breasts. Very spicy flavors of pear and other muted tropical fruits were well balanced by excellent acidity. My only bottle and too bad as I'd like to see how this one would age with 5+ years on it. I'll buy more if I come across it in Ohio. Bought in D.C. and %14.5 abv.
