I go to Alsace every year but since 2010 I don't go at Mann anymore because their bottles are more and more expensive. Some bottles in few years have literally doubled the price. In 2012 the Revue du Vin de France proclaimed Mann "best producer of the year", so, as you can imagine, prices...
One of my favorite Gewurztraminer is their GC Steingrubler, a great bottle sometimes lacking in balance, especially young, being on the sweet side. I remember, some years ago, someone here on WLDG, very accustomed to alsatian wines, used to say that Mann's Gewurztraminers tasted like
cough syrup.
