I guess I had forgotten how good this wine was showing the last time I opened one (Aug 2012) for our wine group, at my house). I popped my last one last night to go with pot roast with potatoes, carrots, onions & German style noodles. It was AWESOME! Being a tightly wound wine, it really benefited from the 25 years age and was singing last night. It was one of those times I looked around and was sorry there was no one here to share it. I saved 1/2 in a 375ml bottle and will drink with dinner tonight.
Hey... life is GOOD!
And we are enjoying the new house in Traverse City, MI.
