Celery and sulfur aromas. Surprisingly light in flavor, with a vegetable smorgasbord of celery, fresh cabbage, and creamed corn from a can. A little more dimension and cut would be nice. The lightness of the wine belies its 14% alcohol. B+

2011 was a weaker vintage in the Loire and not really too great. You just have to be more careful and try to taste before buying or get someone's advice you trust before purchasing.

Was 2011 weak in general or just for Sauvignon Blanc?

Weaker to generalize, but with exceptions like most mediocre vintages. Many good wines just have to be picky.
