SFChron: Two More by JonBonne

Two more articles ystrday by JonBonne in the SFChron. One on MacDonaldRanch in Napa:
Bonne:MacDonaldRanch
I would be interested in knowing what Crabb had planted in the way of other varieties on his Ranch back in the 1870's (before my time) and what happened to them.

and a more quotidian article on Sonoma's west side/fog belt:
Bonne:SonomaFogBelt

Of course, those who are put off by Jon's arrogant attitude should not read these.

This piece was fairly short, but I really liked it. THanks, Tom.

The Sonoma fogbelt article causes me to want to return to Sonoma County and drive along Coleman Valley Road or Fitzpatrick Lane. The fog isn't so pleasant when trying to drive from Occidental to Rohnert Park at night in thick fog after drinking wines (happened to be in August 2012 and I got lost and ended up going through Sebastopol twice before getting on the correct road.)
