Bandol

What do you like to eat with it? I'm grilling some loin lamb chops tomorrow. I have a 2004 Domaine du Gros that I would like to serve, but I have the feeling, a 2003 Jamet Cote Rotie would be the better match. Any thoughts?

I think lamb chops would be fine. I generally treat a Bandol similarly to a CdP (or at least a Mouvedre heavy CdP). Grilled meats work well. If you want to go for the local vibe, maybe accompany with a tapenade or serve on ratatouille. :)

Yeah, grilled lamb would be my first choice for pairing with Bandol. Other recipes found within Lulu's Provençal Table would be good.

It worked great with the lamb chops. I opened 3 very good wines with dinner last night, and hope to post notes later on all of them.

Thanks for the encouragement, Dale, and I even included tapenade crostini along with the lamb.
