South Eastern Australia.
Dark purple in the glass.
Lots of herbs on the nose, spicy, black fruit.
Fairly big and rich, medium-weight, red licorice, dill, cherry and raspberry, slight note of cherry cough drops (which I usually associate with Grenache).
With time, the wine seemed to grow in proportion and structure, becoming richer and the fruit becoming blacker and fleshier: all black cherry and plums.
Purchased for $15 (Canadian).
