2001 Clos du Mont-Olivet Châteauneuf-du-Pape - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (10/14/2013)I popped and poured this wine, and from the first sip it was singing. Lots of fruit left, with plenty of herbal and leathery character. Very fresh in palate feel, with no heaviness at all. This was a beautiful showing from a traditional Chateauneuf in the prime of its life.
