Riesling Cuvée Frederic Emile 2000 Trimbach

Bought in Ribeauville, about 2006.
Decanted 45 minutes. Golden colour with something green; brilliant and exciting. Ah, the nose. Petrol, almonds, cinnamon, peaches, lemon zest. Ehm…I think I spent some minutes before drinking. Full bodied, rich, white peaches and minerals everywhere; a long lemony finish but a little less dry than expected. Ready, but no hurry. Excellent, as usual.

Thanks. Very timely note, as I was thinking of pulling one to check on it. Sounds like it's worth lining them up in the drinking queue.

Eh...you can't imagine how many times in these months YOU have been so...timely...with all those Donnhoffs, Schafer and so on! Thanks.
