Tried this Fri night w/ friends:
1. Whidbey's Port Washington (19%) Greenbank/WashState 1984: Very dark color w/ some bricking; strong chocolaty/boysenberry/grapey/blackberry/framboise some dusty rather alcoholic/fumey rather complex oldPorto nose; somewhat sweet huge/chocolaty/boysenberry/loganberry/grapey/framboise bit hot alcoholic/fumey complex flavor w/ light tannins; very long/linger smokey/pungent intense grapey/boysenberry/loganberry/framboise somewhat fumey/alcoholic some complex finish w/ smooth/resolved tannins; still lots of youthful character & loads of boysenberry.

1. One of the people at dinner is a big Port fan, so knew I had to find something unique & unusual. This fit the bill. There was a ton of sediment in the wine and the black/opaque btl made the decant job rather poor.
Whidbey's was originally located out on WhidbeyIsland. Don't know where they got their grapes or what varieties. I remember being quite impressed when it came out. Haven't had/seen a recent one, though. The property was sold to Ch.SteMichelle some time ago, so presume they have run the brand into the ground by now.
